DASHBOARD - My Account

In My Account this is where you can customise and build your personal contact page (not the main brokerage contact page which can be found under My Brokerage) These are the functions that can be managed here.

  • Change your Dashboard password
  • Add contact details
  • Create your contact page, add text & image gallery
  • Add Social networking links
  • Create email signature
  • Get featured on Meet the team page (simply add your photo)
  • Dashboard profile - (simply add your photo)

How often should I update my personal web page?

We'd recommend every 6 months minimum, it's more important than you think.

How does it help?

  • Customers need to see that you are part of the Boatshed group
  • Great for building relationships in your local Boatshed area
  • Google search
  • From a customers point of view, buying a boat is an emotional and expensive transaction, they need to see who they are dealing with.

Have a professional photo of you ready and some pre-written copy, use the template below to guide you.

  1. Upload your photo to the Boatshed Dashboard - 
    1. Manage / My Account / My Photo (This will also activate your photo on the group Boatshed page Meet the Team
    2. Make sure your photo is square, head and chest and Boatshed Logo.
  2. Next up add copy on your personal contact page
    1. Manage / My Contact Page / Click the + : text

Include the following questions into your profile page:

What did you do before working with Boatshed? 

What do you enjoy most about working with Boatshed?

Are you a motorboater or a sailor?

What is your most memorable boating experience?

If you want to add something else you could include the following information:

  1. A bit about you, Where you are based, add names of location like marinas, this all helps with Google Search.
  2. Your area of expertise - sail boats / power boats / / Inland / etc
  3. Boating history - When you started boating, what was your first boat, what boat have you now?
  4. Previous work history
  5. Worst experience on a boat
  6. Best experience on a boat
