DASHBOARD - Boat Overview - Selecting Categories
For your boat to appear on the website you must select the category you want it to appear under eg Power, Sail, Inland.
- Click on the categories tab
- Select a MAIN category (Inland and Houseboat, Power, Sail)
- Select a SUB category (narrowboat, fast fisher, trailer sailer)
- Click on the 'i' button for an explanation of the boat category
- Click SAVE at the bottom of the page
Layout Modifier
This another option to select for when customers are searching for boats through the website they can filter their search option by the 'style' of boat.
- Click on the categories tab
- Tick the relevant options (aft cabin etc.)
- Click SAVE at the bottom of the page
When the customer is searching via the website they can click on the 'Layout Styles' filter on the left hand side of the screen and choose a particular layout. This will display any boats that have that option ticked in the layout modifier in the dashboard.
